Shouting-out Northwest Pride in Portland, who worked hard to create a more accessible PRIDE celebration this year and we at Friendly Like Me were proud to support their dedicated, resilient, and innovative crew. After an accessible flooring vendor dropped out at the last minute, Executive Director Deborah Porta identified two additional parade viewing locations to make available to people with access needs. The Society Hotel and Prosper Portland stepped right-up to offer their patio and parking lots respectively, and we honor their contributions to this special day. Friendly's Like Me's accessibility guide to Portland Pride was featured by Portland 8 CBS News just in time for the city to welcome over 45,000 PRIDE attendees over the weekend.
